Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Valware Inc. (“Valware,” “we”) handles information on valware.com and in the Medius EVV mobile app published as Medius Mobile (Android package com.valware; iOS app “Medius EVV Mobile App”). It is the privacy policy linked from the Google Play listing for that app.

The Medius EVV app
Medius EVV is a workforce app. A care agency gives a caregiver an account. The caregiver uses it to clock in and out of a scheduled visit. The app is not a consumer social network, and it is not directed at children.
To meet state and federal EVV rules, the app records the information needed to document a visit:
- The name of the person receiving services
- The services provided
- The date, time, and location where the visit starts
- The date, time, and location where the visit ends
- The caregiver’s account identity and the agency the account belongs to
Location is collected only so the visit can be verified. The app asks for precise location because EVV has to record where services begin and end. If location access is turned off, clock-in and clock-out can fail or be incomplete.
If the phone is offline, the app stores the visit on the device in encrypted form and sends it to the agency’s Medius system when a connection is available.
How visit information is used and who receives it
Visit records are used to document care, support the agency’s timekeeping, billing, and payroll, and meet Medicaid EVV requirements. Valware does not sell personal information.
The record is available to the care agency that employs the caregiver and operates the Medius system. Where the law requires it, the agency’s EVV data is submitted to the state Medicaid program or its EVV aggregator. Valware staff access a record only to host the service, investigate a support request, or keep the system secure.
The valware.com website
The public marketing site can be read without an account. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit so we can reply. The site may also store a short technical session if you use the on-site chat. We use that information to respond to the inquiry, not to advertise to you.
Retention
Visit records are kept for as long as the care agency’s Medius account retains them and for as long as Medicaid, payroll, and other applicable record rules require. Contact-form messages are kept long enough to handle the request and any follow-up.
Security
The website and the app talk to Valware systems over HTTPS. Offline visit data is encrypted on the device before it is sent. Access to production systems is limited to people who need it to operate the service.
Your choices
Caregivers can control location permission in the phone’s settings. The account itself is issued and closed by the care agency. To ask about a visit record, start with that agency. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at https://valware.com/privacy-policy with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after the update means the new policy applies to visits documented after that date.
